Ingredients
- Sugar
- Strawberries
- 1:1 ratio of strawberries to sugar by weight*
Directions
- Combine in a sealed container and let sit on the counter for at least 24 hours
- The sugar will pull the liquid out of the strawberries and turn into a syrup as it sits
- If the sugar is having a hard time dissolving after 24 hours, heat mixture in a saucepan to dissolve.
- Strain strawberries from syrup and store in syrup container
