Strawberry Simple Syrup


  • Sugar
  • Strawberries
  • 1:1 ratio of strawberries to sugar by weight*


  • Combine in a sealed container and let sit on the counter for at least 24 hours
  • The sugar will pull the liquid out of the strawberries and turn into a syrup as it sits
  • If the sugar is having a hard time dissolving after 24 hours, heat mixture in a saucepan to dissolve.
  • Strain strawberries from syrup and store in syrup container
